Such smiley happy people, no?
Those who know me well (and know me the longest) might recognize the place in which all six of these LVC-ers are seated as my first car, the 83 Ford Escort that I was happily driving twenty years ago in 93 (mostly because a car was so much better than the 10 speed bike that was my choice of travel for the first few years of college).
How did we get so many people in this tiny car for a night-time drive out to Memorial Lake (I'm sure it was on one of the nights it was open after dusk, just in case any police are reading this post and just in case the statute of limitations for trespassing on federal property is more than 20 years)? By making sure that Brad H rode in the hatchback trunk. (And maybe also by having female passengers sit on the boys' laps, if I recall?) It's also almost certain that, on the way home, we stopped at the Palmyra Funck's for a late night bite to eat. (And then there's also a chance that a certain percentage of the passengers missed their early morning classes the next day ... just sayin' ...)
Whatever, however ... that doesn't matter. What does matter is the unadulterated joy on the faces of the participants! Good times ... good people ... good memories ...
