Not sure exactly what it is about Martina McBride, but her latest release "11" is in stores today (and if you can get to a Target, paying an extra $2 gets you 4 bonus tracks and some video content -- well worth the extra 20 dimes). It might be that soaring voice hitting those power notes. Or just her general country classiness. Or the fact that she puts her music where her heart is, filling each song with raw emotion (like how "Concrete Angel" can bring a person to tears every time -- whether on the radio, listening to the CD, or the lucky few times I've seen her live in concert ...)!
And, just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, her latest song/video/outpouring-of- emotion is today's tune (well worth a click through if you haven't yet heard it) ...
