Giving credit where credit is due, I heard it from a contestant on MasterChef last night (waiting for Hell's Kitchen to return this July) as she was in tears and begging Gordon Ramsay for a chance. But it actually resonated with me -- what a great way to look at life. I know I'm not perfect and I have lots of mistakes before me ... but at least I can be smarter about those mistakes I've yet to make. It's like my path to self-actualization just got a lot less angst-y. I can embrace the fact that I'm a screw-up, but I'll be a smarter screw-up with each passing day. Here here!
