Random Wordplay for Wednesday 6/15/11

Slip, Slop, Slap ... and Wrap!

Used in a multiple choice question:

Slip, Slop, Slap ... and Wrap! is ...

a) something you read on an activity card during one of those adult only card games.
b) the original lyrics that should have been in a Bell Biv Devoe classic (... never trust a big butt and a smile ...).
c) the lyrics to the second verse of "Splish Splash I Was Taking a Bath" (... for you older folks).
d) a catchy government slogan to prep you for how to protect yourself from the sun this summer.

And, since by this time next week the summer solstice will be upon us, the answer is (d). Save yourself from skin cancer and slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen, slap on a hat, and wrap on some sunglasses. [Or, for those who know me, do as I say and not as I do -- as nothing says summer to me than the sound of my shoulder skin crackling in my own ear ...]
