Any other recent year, I would have said, "Boys, rest up! It's a bye week and you've got to keep yourself as sharp as you've been playing for some upcoming battles". Is it wrong that, this year, I'm saying "Boys, you're lucky to get an extra week to practice. Work extra hard 'cause you have to change your reputation!" Let's use this opportunity to say BYE to our struggles, our challenges and our inability to impress. (I've never been the kind to be an armchair quarterback, but I quickly turned into a posting-couch-coach, eh?)
