So I was flipping through the channels last night on my way to eventual slumber, and it struck me that mash-ups shouldn't just be for music. For instance, I had "South Park" and "Golden Girls" on back to back channels, and it struck me that there was an opportunity to combine the two. Robin Williams could sing "Thank You For Being a Friend" like he did "Blame Canada" at the Oscars. Blanche could help Cartman through puberty. Shady Pines could be in Colorado. And -- can you imagine the climax in every Golden Girls episode where the broads turned to each other and exclaimed, "Oh my God ... they killed Sophia!" [Estelle Getty, RIP]
