In the canon of popular music, there are many many songs that espouse the wonderful things about friendships. Yet I can't quite find one that captures the scenario I find myself in. Anyone know which song best sets the mood for the phone call I made yesterday to a friend of 20 years when I said, "Hey -- can you stop by my Dad's house this weekend and tell me how much raw sewage you find in the basement?". Let's get one of you creative types to put some lyrics to that shit (pun purposefully planned).
