I don't mean to go off on a rant here, but ...
... with newscasts often over-filled with bad news anyway -- do they really have to get into the obituary business? Have you seen what's happening in nearby Saginaw -- about two minutes of "tasteful" screens of "daily death notices" during the local newscasts. Supposedly spurred on by the slow and painful death of newsprint (and a rant within a rant -- have you read the Sunday "funnies" recently -- because more than not, 2-3 cartoons will be referencing that torturous decline in some way each week), this new source of revenue might just inspire a full half hour weekly show, according to this interview! I guess it's really the ultimate reality show, if you think about it. Morbid much?
