Random Wordplay for Wednesday 11/4/09

"Geese in a line".

Used in a sentence: "If you think that you're gonna [insert desired outcome here], you better get all your geese in a line!"

I did a little research, and it seems the the origin of "ducks in a row" is in dispute. To avoid controversy and build consensus (and to heal the world one word/phrase at a time), why not avoid the dispute over whether that expression originated from bowling, or the pool-hall or while shipbuilding -- and let's rally around a clear concept (particularly on display this time of year) -- geese who want to cross a road line up single file to assault the asphalt. Join me in the revolution!
