Gone but not forgotten: Nov 2009's streak of above average Chicago weather.
I returned to town tonight just in time to catch the news that arctic air and possible snow accumulation await us as December starts. What's ending with tonight's turn of the monthly calendar? The longest streak of above normal Nov temps since 1870. I shall think of you fondly, streak of 50 degree Nov 2009 days, particularly when I undoubtedly curse my choice of coat later this week with the first wind chills in the teens!
