Random Scandal Sheet for Sunday 11/1/15

What southern Florida is talking about this week:

The unsolved murder of a local senior citizen who dared take on the drug dealers selling the flakka outside of his home.

Somewhat unsettling for me, this happened just nine blocks away.  And more unsettling, I wouldn't have known about it had I not noticed the changes during my daily 'hood walks for exercise ... specifically the reward poster, the police surveillance van parked in the lot to the right and the flashing sign to the left that said things like "neighborhood safety zone" and "no trespassing".

This neighborhood has been on the rise since recovering from the last drug scourge that hit the city ... and the concern that the latest pharmaceutical fad might be turning back the hands of progress has everyone ... well ... unsettled.  Here's to hoping that the locals rise up to fight against these developments ... and that the death of Robert Reagan was not in vain.
